Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and full metering methods. The firm employs around 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a long tradition of supporting customers and creating leading industrial move expertise for environment friendly, precise and protected handling of fluids,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are building our presence and expertise providing within constructive displacement pumps.”

Geveke, which was based in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and complex process pump installations. pressure gauge octa is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 staff and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.

The acquisition is predicted to be completed through the second quarter 2022.
The primary part of the acquired businesses could have its base within the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be a part of the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
