Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional gross sales manager for North and Latin America, focusing on the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new position, Smith will strengthen customer dealing with initiatives and work with Sundyne’s inside teams to expand throughout the C&I area.
Smith involves Sundyne with more than 30 years of expertise in promoting extremely engineered gear and repair solutions to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has labored extensively with EPCs, OEMs and finish customers in the renewable energy, oil & fuel, petrochemical, chemical and power era markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vp of sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed methods to strengthen & develop distributor sales, while also overseeing training and purposes help. He previously served as a regional sales supervisor for EKATO Systems. Smith began his profession at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has also worked with midstream oil & gas OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
