Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and full metering systems. The firm employs round 1200 people and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a protracted custom of supporting prospects and growing leading industrial circulate know-how for efficient, exact and secure handling of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and know-how offering inside positive displacement pumps.”
Geveke, which was based in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and complicated process pump installations. เครื่องวัดแรงดันเกจที่นิยมใช้ is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 workers and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has strong engineering capability, offering complete industrial pump options from concept to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is anticipated to be completed during the second quarter 2022.
The main part of the acquired companies may have its base within the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
