Non-evaporable getter (NEG) pumps have a complete range of useful and ergonomic advantages for purposes that require cost-effective and reliable ultra-high vacuum conditions. Unlike most vacuum pumps, NEG pumps are gas-capturing pumps that bind gases by the use of sorption. This ends in low power consumption, little noise, and no vibration. NEG pumps haven’t any transferring components and are therefore maintenance-free.
Increased pumping performance
With these attributes, they’re predestined for an entire range of functions in analysis, drugs, trade and analytics. In these areas, they reach pressures of much less than1x10-10 mbar as a result of their working principle. A critical requirement in such purposes is the absence of dust particles as those badly affect the efficiency of the customers’ applications. Sintered NEG materials is broadly believed to strongly cut back emission of such particles into the applying. Therefore, Gamma Vacuum developed its new NEG pumps that are based on sintered material. “The elevated pumping efficiency of this NEG collection with respect to our typical NP collection (NEG pumps primarily based on pressed material) and their superior hydrogen capability compared to the opposite NEG pumps available available on the market are extra benefits”, says Dr. Stefan Lausberg, product supervisor for Gamma Vacuum.
Wide pumping pace vary
The NEG series ranges from 50 l/s up to four hundred l/s in pumping velocity: 50NS, 100NS, 200NS, 300NS, 400NS, 410NS. All pumps are mounted on a DN forty CF (2.75” CF) flange. The first five pumps have a 3-pin feedthrough which is a common type available on the market. In order to fulfil customers’ requests, the 410MS is provided with a particular 4-pin feedthrough whereas it has the identical pumping speed as the 400NS.
Superior hydrogen pumping speed
NEG vacuum pumps can be utilized in a broad spectrum of scientific and medical applications, like electron microscopes, analysis and medical accelerators or floor science. เกจ์วัดแรงดันลม to their superior hydrogen pumping velocity they’re particularly well-suited within the ultra-high vacuum range where hydrogen is the dominant gasoline species.
Energy environment friendly, non-vibrating and noiseless
After the NEG pump has been heated up it does not devour any electricity till it’s saturated. “This makes it an energy efficient, vibration-free and noiseless pump”, highlights product supervisor Dr. Stefan Lausberg. Another advantage: A NEG pump can be put in and operated in any orientation, even in confined spaces, and supplies a sensible way to maintain ultra-high vacuum pressures over an extended time period.
