เกจวัดแรงดันดิจิตอล is one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It can additionally be the second LNG gas pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj within the last 12 months. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that sales might increase even further in 2022.
“Until a couple of years ago, using LNG as a marine fuel was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we at the moment are seeing a sharp improve in gasoline pump orders for deep sea vessels such as container ships and automotive carriers,” mentioned Johnny Houmann, chief sales officer at Svanehøj. “We had been chosen as the provider of gasoline pump techniques for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we goal to extend our market share further in the coming years.”
